HAVE YOU BEEN BUSY?READ ON.......BUSY the definition is aptSATAN'S MEETING: Satan called a worldwide convention of demons. In his opening address he said,"We can't keep people from going to pray.""We can't keep them from reading their holy books and knowing thetruth.""We can't even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with theirGOD.""Once they gain that connection with GOD, our power over them isbroken.""So let them go to their prayers; let them have their covered dishdinners, BUT steal their time, so they don't have time to develop arelationship with GOD..""This is what I want you to do," said the devil:"Distract them from gaining hold of their GOD and maintaining thatvital connection throughout their day!""How shall we do this?" his demons shouted."Keep them busy in the non-essentials of life and inventinnumerable schemes to occupy their minds," he answered."Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow.""Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbandsto work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford theirempty lifestyles.""Keep them from spending time with their children.""As their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escapefrom the pressures of work!"
"Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small voice.""Entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever theydrive." To keep the TV, VCR, CDs and their PCs going constantly in their homeand see to it that every store and restaurant in the world playsnon-biblical music constantly.""This will jam their minds and break that union with God.""Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers.""Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day.""Invade their driving moments with billboards.""Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, mail order catalogs, sweepstakes, and every kind of newsletter and promotional offeringfree products, services and false hopes..""Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so theirhusbands will believe that outward beauty is what's important, and they'llbecome dissatisfied with their wives. ""Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night.""Give them headaches too! ""If they don't give their husbands the love they need, they willbegin to look elsewhere.""That will fragment their families quickly!""Give them disatractions to distract them from teaching theirchildren the real meaning of life.""Even in their recreation, let them be excessive.""Have them return from their recreation exhausted.""Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect on God'screation. Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, andmovies instead.""Keep them busy, busy, busy!""And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them ingossip and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences.""Crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time toseek power from GOD.""Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing theirhealth and family for the good of the cause.""It will work!" "It will work!"It was quite a plan! The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing peopleeverywhere to get busier and more rushed, going here and there.Having little time for their God or their families.Having no time to tell others about the power of GOD to changelives.I guess the question is, has the devil been successful in hisschemes? You be the judge!!!!!Does "BUSY" mean: B-eing U-nder S-atan's Y-oke?...............................................................................FOOD 4 THOT!

Father's day Sharing: A letter from Dad
A few months before my father died of cancer, he wrote me a letter in which he said: “I never think of you that I don’t offer up a short prayer for you and your success. I know you. I know what’s behind you. And I am pretty sure that I understand your goals, the kind of writing you hope to do, and the message you wish to convey. Stay in there and pitch, and may the Lord bless you. I am just so proud and thankful that the Lord let me be your father.”
That letter is one of my dad’s greatest gifts to me.
The New Testament contains two letters from Paul to Timothy, a young man he mentored and considered his “true son in the faith” (1 Tim. 1:2) and his “beloved son” (2 Tim. 1:2). The second letter begins with Paul’s deeply personal words assuring Timothy of his love and faithful prayers (vv.2-3). Paul affirmed Timothy’s spiritual heritage (v.5) and his God-given gifts and calling (vv.6-7). Then he encouraged him to live boldly for the gospel of Christ (v.8).
Dads, you can give great encouragement to your children by writing them a letter of love and affirmation. It may be the greatest gift you can give them. Why not sit down and write it from your heart today? — David C. McCasland
God gives us children for a time
To nurture and to love,
To give them our encouragement,
With wisdom from above. —Sper
The greatest gift a father can give his children is himself.
